Hold on Magnolia to that great highway moon…

It worked!

Amazingly enough the update went almost as smooth as it could. Except for a minor setback when installing the new nvidia beta-driver with AIGLX support, instead of "just" XGL. And no, don't ask me what the difference is. I just know that AIGLX is better :D

The coolest thing about Beryl has just got to be the new Blur-plugin. Everything you do gets blurred so it kind of feels like a psychedelic dream. And it's not just moving windows and stuff, it's actually blurring everything you'd like if you want it to. It's blurring what I'm typing right now, it's awesome. Not very useful at all in any way, but still awesome!

Let's say that you're going to a web site who's got like different modules that loads one by one. With this blur thing the modules gets blurred up on screen. It just looks so damn cool.

I don't know if you can set it up so it only blurs stuff when you're changing tabs in Firefox for example, but that's definitively a feature they should have.

By the way.. This has just got to be the funniest review ever.

This is pretty interesting as well.
