Orange finally caved in.
Way back in August my Sony Walkman* phone started to act weirder and weirder, and I decided to get a new phone due to this. I was very impressed with the Samsung E900 that Micc had, and as my contract was about to expire I could pretty easily get the E900 instead when I renewed the Orange abbonnement.
The phone was in stock when I was in the shop so I could get it straight away. The battery was even charged a bit so I could see so everything worked in the shop. One of the first things i checked was to see if the wap/internet/whatever function was working out of the box, which it didn't. The guy in the shop said it should so he started fiddling around with it and got it working. It was pretty slow though, but I figured that had something to do with the phone in general as some of the games that had worked flawlessly on the Sony was lagging on the Samsung.
Didn't think more of that until I after little less than a month with the new phone when I got the first bill, and as it's Orange, you get the notice by sms. For the past year I've had the bill pretty steadily around 40 euros, sometimes as high as 50 or even 60 (when I've been in Sweden). However the bill was not even close to that amount in September.
The sms said €165,33.
