An era is over
Fidel Castro has announced he will not return to power.
I neither will aspire to, nor will I accept, the position of president of the council of state and commander in chief.
Think what you will of him, but he definivitely played a key role during his 50 years in power. This is one of those days you know that it's possible for the world to change, maybe not much, but at least a little bit. For good or bad.
