Accident at Pieter Calandlaan/Piet Wiedijkstraat

I was biking home from a few drinks after works when I witnessed a Motorcycle Police slam right into a girl on a vespa.

The girl came from the right and the police came driving in at least 70 km/h without his sirens or sound on.

I saw possibly the same cops just a minute before they were swishing by me, and then they were changing directions fast but I got the impression they were racing each other. They also then didnt have sirens nor sound on.

According to the journalist at AD i just spoke to, Erik vd Velden, both the girl and the cop is at the hospital. As far as I could tell the cop had some bruises on his shoulder and they also said his leg hurted, but he could walk so it probably wasn't broken. I could tell he was also in severe chock.

The journalist also said that the girl at least wasn't dead, but the police didn't comment on that further.
