Random tweets from normal boring people?

Nope. Tweets from the lead singer of punk band Dresden Dolls which even includes industrial rock pioneer Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, Alison Sudol of A Fine Frenzy and, last but not least, RATM guitarist Tom Morello respectively.

This is not rock n roll! We don't want to learn that the rock stars we look up to are normal people who do normal things and get mistaken for ridiculous things, we want them to be rock stars extraordinaire. Should they be mistaken for someone, it should be for another rock star.

Oh, gone are the days of stories of your favourite rock stars standing on roof tops screaming they're a golden god or driving in to hotel lobbies to just walk out and order a room. Gone are the days when you get both amazed and scared by outrageous sex stories and all possible ways to take drugs seems to already have been taken.

Oh the 70's, won't you please come back. We don't want to know stories about a singer having problems staying away from eating fucking cake or being called the chips guy. If only it could have been a space cake !
