Re-inventing the blog
Even though November through January usually are the slowest months on my blog, it's never been this slow. I guess that even slow is a compliment since nothing at all has happened since the middle of November.I'm sitting on the train at the moment, writing this at my new Vostro 1400 laptop. The way we could buy stuff at work changed on 1 February so while it still was easy to buy through the company I thought I'd do it. Figured that in case wouldn't use it I could always sell it. But I've used the lappy quite a lot since I got it, nice idea, these laptops. Especially since it's so damn easy to mount HDD's which physically are somewhere else without even having to be on the same network, instead using the wonoderful SSH.

I've already kick started it again by publishing my musical year review, which I meant to write in the start of January really, but I think now that I've got a bit more time on my hands (ie in the train) I'm going to write down my thought a bit more.
During this time I think what I've been most busy with is work, not as in working from home but figuring out about what I'd like to be, career wise. I still barely have a clue about what it exactly is I want, but I think I've got a better idea at least. This is all due to being motivated at work and that it also goes goes very well. I've started doing some interviews with applicants for example, so far I've had one together with the boss, one telephone interview by myself and another face-to-face interview with a Norwegian girl with a colleague of mine, where I found myself praising my job saying it's a great place to work.
Now that is not something I think I would do about an american company for just 3-4 years ago. I guess i'm a bit older and starting to make decisions with my brain some more, instead of only using the heart as in that famous saying about not having a heart if you're not a commie by 20, and not having a brain if you still are one by 40.
Of course you shouldn't disregard everything about it, and I hope to keep my heart just for a little while longer ;) I've only ever seen communism, or socialism rather, as a general idea of how to live, more like the way religion an work but without all that bullcrap about gods and life after death. A motto or a lifestyle.
Common sense.
