Supposed paedophile hung out on youtube.com
Ghetto Webmaster ? MySpace Child Predator Exposed
I'm quite sure I'm not the only to think that rapists, racists and paedophiles are the worst there is, not counting the obvious of a murderer.
But watching this movie couldn't help me getting sick of other reasons than just that guy being the scum of the earth. I really don't feel it's right to hang out someone who has not been tried in court like that. There's no information what so ever on how long it had been going on or how they did it, just excerpts from alleged chat conversations.
It's pretty ironic to me that the guys genitalia is censored, but not his face. I would accept this video more if that were the case and it had been made in a more documentary style.
"Homo praesumitur bonus donec probetur malus"
Innocent until proven guilty.
I can see the reasons which makes paedophile and rapist issues special so that they justify actions like this one - as I said in the beginning those people are the worst there are - but I don't agree with it.
There might be enough hard evidence in this case to justify this action, but they're definitively not in the video which makes it more to a public hanging or a gantlet.
I also don't agree with the political message of it all. Americans in general and American parents in particular are already scared shitless thanks to the Bush administration. This could be seen as another step, another propaganda action into making the people even more scared and thus, easier to control.
Videos like this are just perfect in order to get these scared parents and the parental organizations they have created and belong to even further behind them. Something that definitively are not bad for the Bush administration as they're probably going to continue saying that all you Americans are safer, but not yet safe enough. A classical way for fascist nations to trick their way into getting their people's support. And in this case they would use this support in order to legislate even more acts and laws that would take away everything you could consider calling a private life.
Getting propaganda in to sites like youtube, with mostly young people who are traditionally hard to target for politicians, is probably not something new. I think that this video can be be just simple propaganda, no matter how spineless and demoralizing it may be.
I'm not saying it's not true, but i doubt the nature of it's origin as the video is mere shocking than convincing.
After all, this IS the internets and everything posted on them has got to be true, just like in modern newspapers..

I disagree. “Chip” choose to show himself the way he did on a webcam/the internet. You should know that anything you do on the internet can be published. Although naive Chip probably thought he was chatting with two “innocent” teenage girls who would, in no way, go to the police with his disgusting videos, photos and messages, every normal-thinking person knows there’s a chance even those ‘14 year old innocent girls’ nowadays are in the position to upload those kinda vids on sites like youtube or google video or even show it to their parents.
My point being, as soon as you show yourself on a webcam or even chat on the internet with an instant messenger, there’s no way you can be sure that it’s just between you and the person on the other side or that it will stay that way. If you consider your behaviour on a webcam as normal for the person on the other line, then why would it be disapproved by the rest of the world if it’s ‘normal’?
His “bad luck” in this case was that he wasn’t chatting with those 14 year olds he thought he was chatting with. You write ‘innocent until proven guilty’. What other kind of proof do you want?
In my eyes there’s only two scenarios this guy is ‘innocent’:
1. Him being convinced he was chatting with adults so he wouldn’t be considered a paedophile but more someone who enjoys showing his manly parts and using them on the webcam.
2. The people who are playing the role of the 14 year old kids kinda pushed him in this position asking him to show that kinda pictures and videos and write this kinda messages. Although I think he’s still guilty in this scenario, him being the adult and society expects this guy to know better.
Just my two cents..
