Being traded, Israel and phone issues

First of all, Isreal, and USA obviously, can seriously go fuck themselves. Isreal are building a wall bigger, longer and worse then the Berlin wall, killing civilians and being one of the nations where it obviously doesn't matter if you've got nuclear weapons when Iran and North Korea can't even mention nuce-lear before the US is condemning their behaviour putting up trade sanctions.

Where's David Hasselhoff when you need him..

People need to stop pity the Israelis for being jews, there's alot of other people that's been murdered in genocides as well, and even more recently than the WW2. But then of course they didn't have any money so that doesn't really count, does it?

I'm just wondering where all the empathy for the 937,000 tutsis killed (over a period of just 100 days) in Rwanda '94 and Pol Pot's murdering campaign in Cambodia or the Bosnian genocides are. Angelina Jolie cares about the Cambodians, which makes the total of caring people to all these genocides to about two, give or take.

I'm also wondering when the hell the UN is going to give the Kurds (for example) their own country. However, I've got a suggestion for them that will solve two problems at once. Why not give them the part of Palestine that's still there? Then you'll solve two problems at once...

Saying that a part of the world is yours because your religion is based there while claiming to have been there first is just ridiculous. That way, there would be some very happy indians in North America (Thanks Magnus Betner!).

The fun thing about this is that Jerusalem has been as faithful to any religion as Hugh Hefner has been to his first girlfriend/wife.

So that was Isreal at least, what about being traded? Well, the last few months has been quite chaotic and interesting at work. My department is split up in two teams, run by one service manager and each team having an operations manager and a deputy operations manager.

The team i'm in has the Scandinavian, German and the French speaking countries, France, Belgium and Switzerland. On the other side of the room you've got Spain, Italy and the rest of Benelux. In total both OM's should have 11 people each.
However, in March the other team's OM went on maternity leave and about 2 weeks before coming back she announced that she had was going to work at another department at work instead when coming back. During this time, the DOM had been a temp OM, and due to the company not being afraid of saving money, she's going to stay as a temp OM until probably the end of the year.

Anyway, it all really started with the Dutch/Danish person leaving, to put it nicely. There's also been a German/Dutch leaving, and another German will leave shortly as well as one of the Spaniards, who already were one man short. This would make the teams being 10 in mine, and 9 in the other.
As it was very hard to find a Danish person who spoke for example German or Dutch as well, they decided to hire someone who spoke Danish and English only, and therefore making our team one man more than it should be as another German had to be hired as well.
As the temp OM of the other team doesn't speak Dutch, it didn't make much sense that she should keep the Benelux markets as the other OM, my current boss, do speak Dutch.

They did therefore discuss how the teams would be set up today, if the Dutch OM would get Benelux as well, leaving only Spain and Italy for the other one or if some other solution should be arranged. As one OM shouldn't have 14 people while the other one only has 8, it was decided to trade Scandinavia for Benelux.

Me, my colleague L as well as the new Danish girl G is traded for the one Dutch guy at the moment and another one coming in, hopefully, soon.
I had made up conspiration theories about just this earlier today, and the same outcome I had thought made the most logical sense was also announced to the involved persons today..

It's maybe not the best timing for this, as things above our heads at work are very confusing at the moment with it moving the HQ from one country to another. One of my colleagues is going through quite a rough time at the moment, and being separated from the nice belgians for example is not really preferrable (I think it actually was an Israeli architect who designed the place, the teams are separated by big book shelfs in the middle of the room).

The thing is that the other team has for example two italian catholic missionary priests living here in Holland trying to salvage all the sinners as well as some other people who just aren't the C'est la vie belgians we have now!

I would not be surprised if i end up in a discussion regarding for example abortion or even condoms. The one who's married has like fifteen kids at home.

One positive thing though, we'll probably have a big party with everything paid by the company due to, or thanks to, this, yay!

I also returned my phone to the Orange store today, as it wasn't being recharged anymore, neither by the computer cable or the power cable. Therefore, I don't have a phone at the moment which is quite annoying to say the least. I guess you learn to be a bit needing of it when you've used it every day for the last 5 years or so. My other phones recharger broke as well, but that was me falling walking on the booby trap of which a power cable laying stretched a bit over floor is.
I can however get a replacement phone during this time, an old Nokialainen phonilainen.. Couldn't get that today though as you had to leave a deposit and I would prefer to not starve to death this weekend as i'm a bit short on the money at the moment!
Btw, added Random quotes to the "sidebar" down below. Full of the wisdom of Jeff at the moment..

  1. Faktiskt s?

B?sta serien. Har alla dvder hemma !

    Hur st?r det till btw?
