Hold on Magnolia to that great highway moon…

What’s up.

Thought I'd drop a couple of lines on what's going in my life too, so here they are.

As you may have read in the earlier post, I've been home sick the past week, even though I went to work on the Monday. I'm working at Arlanda Airport again, but It's just temporary as before. It's a bit longer now though, it'll probably go on for at least two more weeks, which makes it a total of almost four weeks. I hate that I always has to be sick whenever I'm starting at a new job, which this kinda is cos it's so long. It was the same thing last summer when I started at the warehouse. After working there for one week I got sicker than I had ever been and lay in bed for two weeks, snotting, coughing, sweating and freezing at the same time, with a headache. Lovely eh.

This week has been bad, to say the least. The concussion has made me so damn angry, frustrated, tired and sad.

Otherwise it's going quite good. I get so glad everytime I hear from Luc and Micc and how great they have it down there in Holland, I just wish I could be with them sometimes. I miss you both.

Talking about that, it was close I moved down to Holland a couple of weeks ago. About three-four months ago I was looking at the Swedish unemployment bureueu's homepage, and happened to get in to the part of the page where they have jobs abroad. There was a company in Holland looking for swedish talking people for IT-related helpdesk work, and I applied for that, just for fun basically. I didn't get it, they had already hired people so i didn't think more about it really.

But three weeks ago or something, i got an e-mail from that company saying they had a couple of vacancie's that could suit me. I replied and said I was interested, and then had a telephone interview with them. It went very well and they mailed me info about the works they had. One was in Amsterdam, which was out of the question i thought cos Amsterdam is too far from Rotterdam and den Haag. The other one was in Utrecht tho, i looked on the map and it looked like it was about the same distance from Rotterdam as den Haag were, which would mean a fifteen-twenty minute long train trip to get there. That could be really fun I thought, and got kinda excited. Talked with Luc later that day tho, and she said Utrecht was about fifty mins by train to Rotterdam, which made things completely different. So I politely said no to the job, but also said that if they got any vacancies in Rotterdam or den Haag, I would be very interested.

I'm not thinking much of that now, I'm having it quite good here now after all. I can just hope someone get fired down there (:p) so I at least can get the chance. I must say it is very, very tempting to go down if I get the chance, but I have no idea what I would do if they mailed and said they had a vacancy tomorrow..
